see what we monitor

Here's what we monitor and how we protect your home -
we'll help you find the right fit.

The risk: You're away for the month. A pressure spike happens on a Tuesday. No one is there to catch it.

These pressure spikes, seasonal flow changes (stagnant water), and aging infrastructure can damage plumbing, cause leaks, create health risks, and lead to costly water damage.

how we address it:

Level 1: Pressure Protection

  • pressure-reducing valve installation plus continuous pressure monitoring
  • prevents damage from spikes and alerts you to unusual pressure patterns

Level 2: Pressure Protection + Control

  • Level 1 coverage plus remote water shutoff capability
  • turn off water from anywhere if sensors detect a problem or before extended absences
  • enables controlled pipe draining for partial winter protection

Level 3: Pressure + Water Monitoring*

  • Level 2 protection plus conductivity and ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) sensors
  • detect changes in water chemistry that could indicate contamination or stagnant water issues

Level 4: Complete Water Monitoring*

  • full coverage with pressure protection, remote shutoff, and comprehensive water quality monitoring (conductivity, ORP, and pH)
  • major visibility into both pressure safety and water chemistry

The risk: Power surges, voltage fluctuations, and grid instability can damage expensive appliances, electronics,
and cause frustrating surprises when you arrive with the whole family.

How we address it:

Level 1:
Surge Protection + Basic Monitoring

  • whole-home surge protector installation plus basic power monitoring on 2 major loads (HVAC, refrigerator, radon fan, etc.)
  • alerts for surges and unusual power draw patterns

Level 2:
Extended Load Coverage

  • Level 1 protection plus basic monitoring of up to 8 major loads

Level 3:
Predictive Monitoring*

  • Level 2 coverage plus limited power analysis with startup signature monitoring
  • detects early warning signs like compressors struggling to start, motors drawing excessive current, or equipment degradation before failure

Level 4:
Complete Intelligence*

  • Level 3 capabilities + highest resolution power monitoring with harmonic analysis
  • most detailed predictive insights - know when your AC, heat pump, or major appliances are heading toward failure so you can replace them on your timeline, not theirs

The risk: radon gas seeps into homes from the ground and can reach dangerous levels, especially in granite-rich mountain areas. Long-term exposure is the second leading cause of lung cancer.

Even with mitigation systems installed, we consider continuous monitoring to be essential -
the EPA recommends retesting every two years, but conditions change constantly.

how we address it:

Level 1:
Basic Coverage

  • one continuous monitor in the lowest level living area of your home

Level 2:
Comprehensive

  • a continuous monitor on each level of your home and crawlspace

Level 3:
Environmental Context

  • monitors on each level and crawlspace, paired with a weather station outside and mini station inside

Level 4:
Complete Monitoring

  • Level 3 coverage plus power monitoring on AC, heat, and radon fan loads
  • verifies your mitigation system is running and shows how HVAC operation affects radon levels
